Join Dana to look in depth at the Anahata (heart) chakra, experience the essence of the heart qualities by creating space and inner harmony.
The heart is the bridge between the lower triangle (the root, sacral and solar plexus) and the upper triangle (throat, third eye and crown chakra).
An imbalance of the heart chakra can be experienced as loneliness and separation, feeling like you don’t belong or fit in or a feeling of being disconnected.
When you feel balanced in the heart you able to give and receive love with equal ease, as well as feel kindness and compassion for yourself and others.
Part 1. Learn more about the Anahata by exploring the sound and syllable of the energy lock, accompanied with breath work to help balance all of the spinning chakra wheels.
Part 2: Flow through a series of vinyasa yoga poses to balance the physical body of the heart, lungs, arms and hands, thymus building up to back bending and heart opening postures to expand and rebalance.
Part 3: Finish with meditation and the use of visualisation focusing on the chakras and a sense of balance.
Suitable for all levels including beginners.
