This session will be run as a free “give back” session at Lake86 on Sunday 28th May. Swimmers must be able to swim at least 200m front crawl and be aged 18 or over. Our coachig for this session is free of charge but if you are NOT a member of lake86 you MUST book and pay for a sesison at the lake via their website, see https://www.cotswoldwaterparkhire.com . PLEASE CHECK THESE COSTS BEFORE BOOKING A PLACE! Members of lake86 do not need to book a lake session.
This short session will allow the swimmer to gain an
understanding of why breathing is important in swimming and will
work through different breathing techniques, patterns and exercises
to give a foundation of understanding to take away and use in their
own sessions.

Members of the lake do not need to book or pay anything

This session joins our essential tune up series due to the amount
of questions we get asked about breathing technique.
This short session will allow the swimmer to gain an
understanding of why breathing is important in swimming, breathing
technique and different breathing patterns and exercises they can
perform in their swimming session to really get their breathing
under control.

Your session locations will be
stated on your original booking request form. Apologies but
although quite funky our booking system does have some limitations
in the emails we can send for each session. If you have any
queries about your session or location please do not hesitate to
contact me ASAP.
For your open water session please remember to
bring:
- Your Wetsuit
- Swim Hat
- Goggles
- Tow Float (we have these to loan for your session should you not have one)
- Towel, warm clothes for after your swim session
- (Optional) Changing robe (if you have one)
- (Optional) Any neoprene accessories that you may need such as booties, gloves and swim hats (again, if you have them)
Please arrive around 10 minutes before your session time, advise the member of staff on the gate (if present) that you have a session booked with Jason Tait at South West Swim and they will direct you where to park. You will find Jason by the BIG south West Swim flag. This is usually by his car.
