Want to start yoga but concerned it will be too much on your eye health? Does eye pressure concern you? Inverting and bringing the eye below the heart against doctor's orders? Does having Glaucoma or Retinal tears make you feel like you can't do yoga anymore. 

We have the answer for you. Heads up is a streamlined approach to practicing the yoga postures so that you don't have to worry about what to do if the teacher calls out a pose and you can't do it. We have a systematic and practical approach to the practice. Some intuitive and some not. We will explore common conditions for the eyes and modifications for all the common poses from an Iyengar approach. 

Level 1 will be standing poses, forward bends, seated poses and twists. Level 2 will be inversions, back bends and abdominals for the seasoned student and or teacher. 

We will have an informational session with Michelle Akler, M.D. Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher.

$80 for both sessions or $45 for Level 1 and $55
