Ballet Vermont’s Adult Ballet Summer Intensive! Join us for a week of fun and training for adults of all levels and don’t miss this opportunity to perform in the Vermont famous Farm to Ballet Project!

Located in beautiful central VT, close to locally produced food, craft drinks and B&B’s nestled in the picturesque Green Mountains, the Ballet Vermont studio is designed specifically for adult dancers. We foster a body positive supportive environment and our classes prioritize proper alignment and mechanics to keep adult bodies moving with strength and confidence. 

The program will include daily classes in: wellness, ballet and repertoire/rehearsals as well as weekly pointe and contemporary classes. This is an opportunity for in depth training while you move through a rehearsal process to support a performance in front of hundreds of people in a story ballet that weekend!  There will also be an opportunity to perform with the popular Farm to Ballet Project (F2B) at the end of the week. F2B is a full length ballet made up of works from the classical canon and repurposed to tell a farm story. This is a unique chance to learn and perform corps roles from popular ballets like Swan Lake, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia and more. The show is performed at farm venues around Vermont and raises funds for on-farm regenerative projects. Attendees can choose:

Full Day Monday-Friday 

• 7/17-7/21 approx 9am-3pm

Full Day + Performance Monday-Sunday 

• 7/17-7/21 approx 10am-4pm, 
• 7/22 approx noon-8:30pm Farm to Ballet Performance at Pittsford Village Farm, 
• 7/23 approx noon-8:30pm Farm to Ballet Performance at Sandiwood Farm

Schedule

Mornings: Strength training/cross training and ballet class. 2.5 hrs

Afternoon: Pointe Class (Foot Strengthening/Pointe prep, Pointe Lecture/Workshop and/or Pointe) and Repertoire/Rehearsal 2.5 hrs

Evenings for Full Day: off- drop in classes available at studio

Evenings for Full Day + Performance: Some evenings off and some evenings joining Ballet Vermont Company Class/Rehearsal (3.5hrs two times per week)

Sat & Sunday Full Day + Performance: Approx noon-8:30pm Full Show days, company class, travel, blocking and performance

PRICING:

Full Day: $750 ($650 Early Reg by April 1st)

Full Day + Performance:  $950 ($850)

** Payment may be divided up into two installments or paid all at once.**

Refund policy: Full Refund is available for any cancellation up until May 1st. 50% refund between May 1st and June 1st. No refund past June 1st.
