Did you know that a regular yoga
practice can boost chances of healthy aging by improving range of
motion / flexibility, supporting the cardiovascular /immune system,
increasing muscular strength, maintaining balance/agility and
managing stress and emotional well-being?
Join us for a five week series,
1.5 hours each session. $150 for entire series or $35 if
purchased as single sessions
Each week we will spend about 30
minutes discussing a specific topic (science, what happens when we
age, how does yoga help) and then we will have a 1 hour practice
focusing on that topic:
April 7th, Week 1:
Flexibility
April 14th, Week 2:
Cardiovascular/Immune System
April 21st, Week 3:
Strength
April 28th, Week 4:
Balance/Agility
May 5th, Week 5: Stress
Management (restorative class)
Classes are targeted to those
50+ and are slow, gentle and educational.
About Diane: Diane has held
this course mulitiple times in the local rec centers. She has found
that her niche is Yoga for Wellness, and particularly Programs with
consistent attendees that include Education, Community and
Practice.
