We leave the city at 7am on front Grassroots Fitness Project.

We carpool and can take 5 people with us in our car. If you have a car and can take others, great!

We arrive at Rock and Snow by 830/9am in New Paltz where we meet our guides (we have worked with them for YEARS, and love them all. We get one guide per 4 people. Plus, the coaching of GRFP owners, Heather and Wil!)

We then get fitted for climbing shoes, harness and helmet. All included. 

We then drive into Peterskill where we will climb from about 10am to 4pm. 

*Climbing is a sport with alot of rest built in. You will get to climb as much or as little as you like, and everyone will defintely go home fatigued. 

The guides explain and demo everything. You will learn to climb top rope (meaning you climb up as high as you feel comfortable and then belay down. Belaying just means you will be let down via the rope), and you will even learn to belay!

It’s a FULL day of being in nature, stepping outside your comfort zone physically and mentally and having the best day ever!!

The only thing you have to bring is lunch/snacks and a great attitude!

We eat out for dinner before driving back, of which we typically get home around 7/730pm.

Anyone is allowed to come on our trips.
