Our Camp Provides Fun and Learning for Kids of All Ages
Time off school is a time when parents need to find activities for their kids. Your kids will learn from expert instructors while having fun and making new friends. In other words, it’s the ideal day off experience!

- What age ranges are accepted at Gentle Art Kids Camp?
- We welcome all children ages 5-12
Does my child need any Martial Arts experience? - Not at all, our skilled instructors know how to tailor lessons
to make them fun and engaging for any child.
What does my child need to bring to Camp? - We ask all parents to supply a lunch and refillable water
bottle for their child each day they attend camp. We also recommend
bringing two snacks, and we will have additional snacks available
for sale. If your child takes part in our BJJ program, make sure
you pack your child's Gi for the day :)
My child has never attended a day camp before – can they still attend your camp? - Absolutely! We cater to kids of all ages and experience levels.
We have beginners attend our camps and then transition to regular
classes when the school year starts, and experienced young students
attend our camps too.
I work during the day — what are the hours for camp? - At Gentle Art, we want to make it as easy as possible for parents and as FUN as possible for students! All day camps run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Drop-off starts at 7:30am. Pick-up from 5 to 6pm.

Hey Awesome Parents
Drop off - We'll open at 7:30am and our activities begin at 9am.
Pick up - From 4:45 -6pm. When you arrive, please be sure to have a government issued ID. If someone on your contact list picks of your child, be sure to remind them to bring their ID.
Snacks - Please have your kids bring in 2 healthy snacks, lunch and a water bottle. We also sell a variety of snacks, organic juices and treats for $1 & $2 each, of your choice, cash only.
Child's belongings - We require all students to have their water bottle, Gi bag, Gi Belt & Gi properly labeled with their First & Last name on it!
Dress code - We suggest you bring an extra CLEAN pair of flip flop to wear while inside the Studio. Outside shoes are not allowed while inside the studio. Bare-foot are not reccomended. Students are encouraged to not wear jewelry, and if your child has long hair, we ask that it is pulled back and in a ponytail. Please wear comfortable clothes. Jeans are not allowed.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class dress code - Please, have your kid come in with a trimmed nails and clean uniform. If you need a new Gi, please inquire at the front desk. For future reference, you can always store the Gi in the Studio and have us wash it on a daily basis for your convenience at a small fee of $12,50 per weekly (Gi cleanning and storage). Students are encouraged to not wear jewelry, and if your child has long hair, we ask that it is pulled back and in a ponytail.
Personal Items - We are not responsible for yours & or your child's personal items if they are lost, damaged, or stolen. Plese have all your child's personal belongis labeled with your child's first and last name.
Cell Phones - Please, keep phone calls to a minimun. If you need to pick up a phone call during the ceremony we strongly suggest you to take a call on the upper level of the studio.
Photos & Social Media - We love keeping you informed about your child’s day! Be sure to visit our Facebook page and/or instagram each day for pics and videos! Also, be sure to Tags us on your photos and videos - we love it!!
Referrals - We love accepting referrals and filling our Kids Programs with parent approved friends! If you know of a family who has awesome kids like yours, please let them know about our BJJ, summer camp and after school program!
