The meaning of Buti:
“Buti” is an Indian Marathi word that means “a cure that has been hidden or kept secret.” People are societally taught to seek external validation or ways to heal themselves. We believe the only true cure comes from within. The practice of BUTI YOGA helps individuals strip away the layers that hide this cure and bring about a total transformation.
What is Buti Yoga:
The practice of BUTI YOGA soulfully blends power yoga, tribal
dance, and sculpting movement for a high-energy yoga-fusion workout
that will challenge you mentally and physically. Set to inspiring,
beat-based world dance music, this all-in-one workout tones and
sculpts the entire body while facilitating inner transformation.
The practice draws from Kundalini yoga by using spiral movements to
awaken + energize the chakras while strengthening and stabilizing
the core. It is thoughtfully designed to meet people where they are
in their practice regardless of skill, strength, or flexibility. It
is a come-as-you-are class that balances energy, builds confidence,
and fosters self-love.
What to expect from a Buti Yoga
class:
Be ready to Dance, Flow, and Sweat. The music alone will cleanse
the soul but don’t be surprised if you experience bouts of
laughter, tears, grunts, sighs, yells, goosebumps, and my personal
favorite (I get excited just thinking about it!), the sheer
spine-soaking-magic of the BUTI YOGA adrenaline rush, otherwise
known in BY as the “kundalini awakening experience.”
