What happens when we still the body? How often are we caught running from one activity to another? This class is the perfect compliment to to our active exercises and lifestyles. This slow and often meditative practice physically allows us to create space and increase flexibility making it great for athletes, and for all of us who often hold tension in our bodies. In this class, we realize that every body is built differently. Poses are modified so that everyone can access the same desired sensation of stretch, regardless of what that looks like for that person. Props such as bolsters, blankets, and eggs are used to assist each student. We will focus on body awareness, and offer a variety of breathing and meditative techniques. You will leave this class feeling like you just had a massage!
