This special class alternates between a creative Vinyasa class
and Ashtanga Flow: Vinyasa is similar to Ashtanga but the
sequencing is more diverse.
Traditional sequence of postures linked with breath, bandhas
(locks) and dristhti (gaze) to systematically open the body (panic
channels), cleanse the senses and clear the mind while producing a
purifying internal heat. This sweaty practice has the power to heal
and transform the body if practiced in a sustainable way. Some
experience is helpful, but anyone who is interested can do the
practice. New students to this class should commit to this practice
2-3 times per week for a month to build stamina and learn
appropriate modifications. Benefits can be felt immediately and
seen over time.
