They say the first step is always the hardest. This yoga
basics class introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and
breath work in a flow of postures linked together by the breath.
Students will be introduced to yoga postures, yoga philosophy,
meditation and breathing. Emphasis is placed on students’
understanding, safety, and stability within each pose. Gradually
these poses will be linked together into a gentle flowing sequence.
If you have never tried yoga, are a beginner, or even an
experienced yogi looking to refine your practice, this is the class
for you. Come as you are: weak shoulders, tight hamstrings,
confused by yoga jargon….it doesn’t matter! You’ll be surprised by
the benefits you reap from practicing yoga!
