This class is for students new to ballet or for beginners. Have you always dreamed of taking ballet classes but now feel like it's too late? Do you feel like you are too old to get into a leotard and ballet slippers? Although professional ballerinas start at an early age, it's never too late to learn ballet. Adult ballet classes offer a fun way to tone and tighten your body while learning the fundamental techniques of ballet. This beginner classes start off at the very first steps of ballet, so there is no reason to be intimidated. This class offers a great workout, grounded in classical technique. Learn traditional ballet warm up and conditioning techniques and learn to put together dance combos fit for beginners.
There is a 3 person registration minimum for this class. If that minimum is not met by (for day classes before 4pm) 8 am or (for evening classes after 4pm) 3 pm the day the class is scheduled, class will be canceled.
This class will be held at the following location - 2216 Central Ave. Minneapolis, MN There is parking on the street in front of the building or there are 10 parking spots behind the building.
COVID-19 POLICY/SICK UPDATE
During COVID-19 pandemic, heightened safety and security measures will be in place. IF you choose to attend in-person classes at the Knockout Bodies studio, you agree to and fully personally accept all known and unknown risks, including the potential risk of exposure to respiratory illnesses such as the coronavirus (COVID-19). You understand and agree that you will hold us harmless and you will not hold us liable for any real or perceived Symptoms of COVID-19 or any other disease, illness, or condition, nor for exacerbating any existing symptoms, and you fully agree to accept all risks of entering the studio, using the equipment, working with staff, attending classes, and/or interacting or being exposed to other students.
-Maintain proper social distancing of at least 6 feet in the studio.
-Wash hands before and after class.
-Avoid touching of eyes, nose, and mouth.
-Step out of studio and cover mouth and nose when sneezing and/or coughing.
-Avoid use of phones in studio unless disinfected.
-Masks may be worn - However, understanding of the impact of the protection of a mask against COVID-19 is still being understood. Additionally, one may exhibit symptoms such as shortness of breath, decreased oxygen intake, resulting in dizziness, passing out, puncture lung, etc. If you choose to wear a mask, you understand that you may be susceptible to symptoms related to decrease oxygen intake. You understand and agree that you will hold us harmless and you will not hold us liable for any real or perceived symptoms caused by wearing a mask at our facility. You also understand that not every person that attends classes at the studio will be wearing a mask, and you accept the risk associated with exposure to any real or perceived Symptoms of COVID-19 because of this.
-No food or drinks will be brought in or sold in studio till further notice.
-Follow all designated and communicated COVID-19 studio policies as directed. Failure to comply with studio polices will result in you being asked to leave the studio property.
-During this time, no refunds will be provided for purchases made during the COVID-19 pandemic. Account credit may be provided.
-If you exhibit any of the following symptoms, do not come to the studio: fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, or have knowingly come in contact with an infected person.
-Doors will be locked until 10 minutes before class. Please be patient. While waiting for admittance, practice social distancing of at least 6 feet.
-Students will be let into the reception area one at a time, checked in, and will head straight to the studio area. Please limit the items you bring into the studio. Cubbies may be used for storage. Please wash hands prior to class.
-We will not accept walk ins. Pre-registration and pre-payment will be required for class admittance. To limit staff exposure, no purchases beyond merchandise will be conducted in studio.
-Doors will locked at the start of class and no admittance will be allowed. Please plan accordingly. We will not accept late arrivals for class during the COVID-19 pandemic.
-Entry from the back door will not be allowed during COVID-19 pandemic.
-Late Cancel times have been reduced to 3 hours prior to scheduled class.
