This mind/body workout builds upon the basics of Pilates
Reformer exercises and challenges each student's level of
experience. The Pilates equipment provides low-impact,
resistance-based exercises with pulleys and springs. Students learn
to improve posture, control, core stability and strength, while
refining their technique. Transitions that connect one exercise to
the next are emphasized.
Instructors often transition students from the Reformer to Tower, Chair, and Jump Board. Props such as the Pilates ring and blocks are used to enhance certain exercises.
A series of private lessons is required before attending your first Pilates equipment/reformer class.
