All-Level Barre
This class is a challenging all-level fitness program utilizing
movements influenced by classical ballet barre methods, Pilates,
yoga, and orthopedic exercises. You'll start with a warm up
and sequence of upper-body exercises, which may include free
weights, resistance bands, push-ups, planks and other moves to
target the biceps, triceps, chest, back muscles and core stability.
Next, you'll use the ballet barre and your own body weight for
resistance to focus on the thigh and seat muscles. You will finish
with mat work that specifically targets abdominal core muscles,
yoga-inspired stretching and breathing exercises for a total body
experience resulting in increased mobility, strength, flexibility
and body/mind awareness.
You may book this class through our software system if you hold a current and active pass at Women's Room, or hold an unlimited membership with our studio.
