Students entering Highschool- grades 9-12
Teen yoga camp embraces more traditional yoga approaches,
and includes intuitive arts such as journaling, making
mandalas,dreamcatchers and other mindful arts, as well as learning
to apply henna.
We explore the basics of energy studies, (chakras, reiki)
and lots of yoga theory and practice. In addition to learning
alignment and postures of traditional yoga, students will do aerial
yoga, partner & acro yoga and more. Students explore a
variety of yoga styles with emphasis on how yoga supports our
life regarding the issues that young adults face today, such
as peer pressure, balancing emotions, dealing with stress and the
dynamics of school, friendships, and making positive, healthful
choices.
