Yoga Nidra “To bring forth emptiness with one pointed awareness”
“Welcome, discover and appreciate the layers of your being one by one and discover the peace beyond.”
Join us for monthly Yoga Nidra with Bonnie Francis. During this restorative yoga practice, sometimes referred to as “yogic sleep”, the body is comfortable and supported in Savasana. Yoga Nidra is perfect for anyone, including those who may be brand-new to Yoga or meditation. All that’s required is a willingness to lie down, let go, and rest. Feel free to bring your favorite blanket or pillow, or eye pillow, wear comfortable clothing and come prepared to find yourself in a state between wakefulness and sleep. The goal of this practice is to begin to lose the conscious awareness and sensations of the physical body so your full awareness can reunite with the heart center, the intuition, the life essence that guides you to a place of peace and harmony.
Yoga Nidra is one of the deepest possible states of relaxation while maintaining complete awareness. It can help relieve stress, anxiety, headaches, trauma-related disturbances and sleep disorders.
Class will conclude with a 15-20 minute sound bath of bells, bowls and/or gongs.
This class is lead by RYT-500 yoga instructor, Bonnie Francis, for your own sense of complete relaxation and peace.
Must pre-register for this class. No walk-in's please!
