Building a Balanced Yoga Practice
This
specialty course is a five part series incorporating flow-, hatha-,
yin-, and restorative-style yoga practices to explore ways to
create an overall balanced yoga practice. Each class builds progressively from
one week to the next.
Because our bodies
form to function, if our daily activities, workouts, and yoga
practices are not well balanced, we end up with imbalances
throughout the body and muscles that feel stuck and weak, or
feel overstretched and overworked. Discover how yoga traditions
have developed ways to address imbalances in muscle strength and
stretch to create a practice that best serves
you.
GREAT FOR: Experienced
yogis interested in designing a more personalized practice; Newer
yogis who would like to sample various styles of yoga to discover
which suits them best.
