Yoga For A Healthy Back is for people living with back discomfort.
During this five week specialized series, we will introduce exercises for the spine and discuss your concerns and spinal issues. You will have the opportunity to get familiar with the spinal anatomy, and together we will find ways to improve the mobility, flexibility and strength of your back.
Additionally, we will work towards improving your posture by observing the spine's natural curves to help prevent slouching and improve our overall well-being.
This class series is available to all levels, including those who are brand-new to yoga.
About the Instructor:
Yulia Braun has been studying yoga since 1997. She received her formal training at Esther Myers yoga studio, where she wrote her final paper exploring the subject of Improving the Posture and Spinal Health. She is living with Rheumatoid Arthritis and managing it through yoga and a lifestyle that helps her to stay happy and healthy.
