Join Sarah for a 90-minute class designed to embody the yogic tenets of Ahimsa (compassion) and Aparigraha (generosity). We will discuss these yogic principles and learn how to apply them practically in your yoga practice and how to extend them off of your mat, into your daily life. You will then be guided through a practice to include pranayama (breathwork), asana and vinyasa (movement), and meditation.
This class is a fundraiser to benefit Yoga Foster. Yoga Foster brings yoga to schools by giving school teachers the training, lesson plans, and tools they need to practice with their students. We also collect gently used yoga mats from communities and donate to our teachers, providing a safe space for students to practice. We aim to make wellness elementary -- $20 brings yoga to one student for the whole school year! Let's work together to make this world a more compassionate and generous place by leading with example and bringing the gifts of yoga to our schools.
