This
6 week* progressive exercise class will be led by our licensed
pelvic floor physical therapist, Karen Bumpus, DPT and will
focus on healing and strengthening your body after birth. Class
will combine a mix of floor/mat exercises and apparatus-assisted
exercises utilizing our Pilates Reformers. Appropriate for
postpartum women of any stage, though those within 12 mos of
delivery may find it the most beneficial.
Requirements:
At least 6 weeks postpartum and cleared for return exercise by
OBGYN. A brief survey will be distributed before first class in
order to gain insight into goals and special considerations for
each client and help tailor the curriculum to individual
needs.
