Instead of pure yoga we will be doing a fusion of Yoga and
Pilates with the added challenge of light weights and mini
bands.
The class will consist of a warm up consisting of dynamic
stretching and breathing (pranayama) with movement as we progress
from the floor to standing.
Along the way we will strengthen the core, glutes, back and
hips with body weight Pilates exercises. And then adding in light
weights and a band as we move through some sequenced sets for a
full body sculpt.
The class ends with a slow yoga flow wind down and some gentle
stretches, followed by a few minutes of deep
relaxation.
