In this training, you will learn the basics of Ayurveda and how to begin utilizing the system to better understand your Self and your unique needs so that you can begin creating your Ayurvedic lifestyle. By learning about your unique constitution/s, and how to better adapt to the natural cycles and rhythms of nature, you will learn how to bring your body into greater balance, how to nurture your spirit, and calm your mind. By learning about the relationship between Yoga and Ayurveda you will see the greater potential that Yoga has for Self-healing when approached with an Ayurvedic perspective. Some specific topics to be addressed are: food, eating & digestion, natural cycles, energetic effects of asana, and Prana Vayus.
This workshop/training is great for anyone interested in nutrition, holistic health, energy medicine, and yogic practices, including yoga teachers who are looking to deepen their self-study and Ayurvedic knowledge.

Teacher BIO:
Niki Cohen is on a mission to flow gracefully with the cycles of Nature! She is an Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, and Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor Level 1. Additionally, she is an experienced yoga instructor (E-RYT500), a registered continuing education provider with Yoga Alliance (YACEP), and a faculty member of two local Yoga Teacher Training programs. She continues her training in Parayoga which utilizes three systems of knowledge, Ayurveda, Yoga, and Tantra. The depth of knowledge in those three systems guides each of us to live our own best life, to come closer to our greatest potential.
