This 2-hour workshop integrates a gently awakening, mindful flow, self massage, pranayama (breathwork), and restorative yoga to guide you into a state of deep and grounded relaxation. The first portion of class will yoke together an intentional, accessible open levels flow and self myofascial release work on tennis balls to release tension, cultivate greater freedom in the body and deepen the mind-body connection. With this enhanced mind-body connection, you will then be guided through simple and grounding breathwork in restorative yoga where all poses are held passively while the body is fully supported by props to invite full release and activate the parasympathetic nervous system and the ‘relaxation response.’ You will leave feeling connected, grounded, and rejuvenated.
