If sitting on a cushion with your eyes closed has never really appealed to you or if you feel like your meditation practice has plateaued, come explore other forms of meditation with Maggie Mae Anderson, a yoga teacher and therapist who is currently studying Mindfulness Meditation with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. In our two hours together we will experiment with walking, standing and sitting meditation along with brief guided and silent meditations. Come with a curious mind and try out other forms of meditation. You may find that one of these styles might be a good fit for you, helping you to be more present in your body, calm in your mind and aware of your surroundings. No prior meditation experience required as these practices are accessible to all.
