Today, Sound Medicine complements a variety of professional
disciplines including the work of yoga instructors,
psychotherapists, acupuncturists, energy medicine practitioners,
life coaches, classroom teachers and more. This work introduces
core principles and practices of working with Sound Medicine,
including hands-on exploration of a variety of instruments and
tools such as crystal and brass singing bowls, tuning forks, drums,
the gong, flutes and the voice.
This workshop is open to all yoga practitioners and teachers, as
well as anyone with an interest in exploring Sound Medicine for
personal or professional reasons. No musical experience required,
and there are no prerequisites! This workshop also qualifies for
Yoga Alliance continuing education hours. For those in the
300-hr Yoga Teacher Training, this workshop is included with your
training registration fee and does not require separate
registration.
