A restorative release yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets that allow you to completely relax and rest while also releasing the fascial tissue around muscles that may be tight, stiff or low in mobility. Postures are held for 3-5 minutes. The restorative poses include light rotations, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. Alyssa's class experience allows customization with the flow, creatively utilizing the props to aid in comfort and accessibility.
