SHINE Leaders (and handstand enthusiasts) Mairead Sauter and Susan Nelson are offering a four-week series to help you build strength and confidence in your arm balance and inversion practice. During the program, you will learn about the anatomy of arm balances and handstands and develop strength and flexibility in places where you'd least expect it - such as in your forearms and fingertips.
We will cover a progression of arm balances such as Bakasana (Crow), Side Crow, Tittibhasana (Firefly), Eka Pada Koundinyasana I and II, and Astavakrasana (Eight-angle pose) AND inversions such as headstand, tripod headstand, handstand, and forearm stand. Our goal is to create an experience of freedom and flight, and to create a space for you to safely and confidently stand on your hands.
Program Cost = $70 / person for the entire 4-week program or $25 / person for a drop in (if space available)
