Students who are recovering from a specific injury ( knees,
Hips, Back, or neck, etc), or are experiencing medical challenges
or chronic conditions (Arthritic, etc) are encouraged to join this
class. In this class, the methods of Iyenger yoga for alignment and
Tai-chi for circulation are embodied. Small weights are used to
promote strength. Chairs and other tools are used to aid partitions
who find it difficult to sit or kneel. Along with improved strength
and balance, we practice relaxation and meditation.
