This class emphasizes the practice of ahimsa, meaning “do no harm”. We’ll strengthen our muscles and joints through asana (yoga posiitions) kind to our connective tissue and bones to achieve more flexibility and freedom from pain. We'll calm the mind through simple breath work and meditation. In the words of Mukunda Stiles, author of Structural Yoga Therapy, “…we are encouraged to seek positions in which we continually experience our body to be comfortable and steady.” This class is appropriate for all levels.
