We would love to have you join our Grey Owl 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training experience this Spring and embark on a journey with us to awaken and nurture your mind, body and spirit.
We kickoff our journey with an offsite weekend immersion at the beautiful and peaceful Elohee Retreat center in the mountains of northeast Georgia. Following this immersion weekend, we’ll meet at our Grey Owl Mind-Body Studio in Johns Creek for seven weekend sessions over the course of four months.
During this program you’ll learn about:

Yoga historical context, philosophy and principles as well as teachings from major texts such as the yoga sutras;

Our YTT Foundational Flow - an alignment based, intelligently sequenced, safe, sustainable and well-rounded hatha yoga flow;

In-depth asana (poses) analysis, pranayama (breathwork) and meditation techniques;

Physiology, anatomy and biomechanics of yoga;

How to teach effectively, safely and in an authentic manner that engages and transforms students, including employing appropriate verbal, visual and hands-on assisting;

Adjusting the YTT Foundational Flow to meet the specific needs of students and how to create a variety of class styles: such as vinyasa flow, slow flow, gentle, power flow, etc.;

Designing sequences and theming to strengthen the mind-body connection and incorporate yogic philosophy;

Tools for enabling a positive class experience for your future students;

Yin format principles;

Harmonizing the subtle body through the chakra and prana vayu system.
