It's back, by popular demand---Arm Balances and Inversions with Josh. For the past ten years Josh has taught this workshop to help hundreds of students get into previously elusive arm balances and inversions, or to go deeper into accessible arm balances and inversions, and/or to take those known postures into more complex and intricate sequencing of flow and dynamism.

This workshop is designed to help us get into those challenging arm balances and inversions (if they are elusive to us), and explore how various arm balances and inversions can be connected to some challenging and fun vinyasa flow.

Sometimes we may think and/or feel there is a “key” or a “secret” to getting into and out of these types of postures in a safe and effective way. Rest assured, there are no keys or secrets, but there is a fair amount of practical work both joyous and challenging that can be practiced to assist us for these poses and transitions. In this workshop we will grasp a deeper understanding of the mula (root) and uddiyana (flying upward) bandhas (locks) and utilize various abdominal and lower back toning exercises which assist us for these poses gaining greater accessibility, efficiency and of course, to have fun. Says Josh, in the immortal words of Jerry Maguire, "help me, help you." Peace.
