Come enjoy a relaxing afternoon of gentle restorative Yin Stretching followed by a full guided yoga nidra meditation practice.
Yin Yoga is deep stretching to increase flexibility, erase tension and increase circulation.
Yoga Nidra is the heavenly science of complete relaxation for everyone. It is one of the deepest and most accessible ways to positively change unconscious patterns and deactivate the reactivity of the unconscious mind. Unlike shorter versions this workshop presents the full practice of yoga nidra backed by ancient spiritual teachings and the latest scientific studies. Yoga Nidra speaks to your subconscious mind and trains it for something NEW beyond programmed habits and negativity so that you may experience the profound joy of your heart that is always radiating and pulsating within.
We start the class with Deep Yin Stretching and Gentle Movement followed by a full 40 minutes of relaxing meditation into all 8 Stages of Nidra relaxes you deeply into a guided meditation (done entirely on our backs in comfort) that has been proven to:
- Unwind patterns of chronic stress, tension, and fatigue
- Restore balance and calm the nerves
- Reduce depression, insomnia, stress and chronic pain
- Access ‘deep sleep’ healing patterns
- Increase peace and improves brain function
It is said that 1 hour of yoga Nidra guided meditation is the equivalent restorative power of 4 hours of regular sleep. Not only will you re-establish healthy belief systems, but also nourish your nervous system at its deepest level to create true and meaningful healing for body, mind and spirit.
Together you leave the practice feeling rejuvenated and rested with a deep release of physical and mental tension and stress.
