Walking Meditation is one of the simplest and most satisfying
practices one can do. In addition to the peace of meditation, we
will exercise the body at a moderate pace. We will bring our
attention to the gift of placing our feet on the earth, and observe
the natural gifts right in our neighborhood.
Our regular path will include Frazier Woods, but over the weeks of
the class we will explore other oases in the Edgewood/Candler Park
neighborhood. In case of inclement weather, we may simply don the
appropriate attire (boots, umbrella or poncho) or do an indoor
walking meditation practice.
All fitness levels welcome.
