If you are curious and would like to enjoy a taste of Compassion Cultivation Training© (CCT), join Laura Banks for a free 90-minute Introduction to CCT at Willow Street Yoga. This class introduces the basic concepts and offers a course overview of Compassion Cultivation Training©, an eight-week program designed at Stanford University to develop the qualities of compassion, empathy, and kindness for oneself and for others. Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about compassion training, participate in a sample meditation and exercise from CCT, and ask questions. The class is not required to register for an upcoming session of CCT nor is there an obligation/expectation for participants to register for CCT after attending this introduction. It's open to anyone who's simply interested in exploring the power of compassion to transform ourselves and the world.
