Yoga Nidra is sometimes called “Yogic Sleep,” or “Meditative Sleep.” All levels are welcome to experience this gentle awareness between waking and sleeping. There is no way to do it wrong! This is a mindfulness-based, guided meditation practice. All you do is breathe and listen; there is nothing to fix or change. This helps us shift from activated thinking to gently sensing without attachment, and simply being. This enables a sense of restfulness and activates the calming part of our nervous system.
