This is for teenagers who want to try a variation of aerial apparatuses - currently Lyra & Trapeze and Sling & Silks - to figure out what they like, or just mix things up! Every other week, we will rotate beween horizontal (or bar) apparatuses and vertical (or fabric) apparatuses.
Come have fun swinging, spinning, climbing, and (carefully) inverting! The various aerial arts are a great way to learn complex coordination, gain full body awareness and strength, and work on fine and gross motor skills in a fun and exciting way!
Attire: Comfy workout top and tighter-fitting pants or capris (cover the back of the knee). A backup pair of shorts for upper level pole skills is suggested. Sneakers or bare feet work great :)
Age requirements: 12-16, but what is more important is that they are interested enough in learning to follow complex fitness instruction for an hour.
