This class begins with a 20-25 minute guided meditation, followed by discussion. We explore the simple, yet challenging, practice of mindfulness meditation and also build community. Yoga and vipassanā meditation (also known as “insight” meditation) both arose out of the same spiritual culture of ancient India. This class employs simple Buddhist meditation techniques, suitable for people from all spiritual paths, and is open to anyone, including absolute beginners to mindfulness and meditation
