Yoga Nidra, also called yogic sleep, is a technique for controlling your body's relaxation response; it is not a one-hour Savasana. During Yoga Nidra, you remain fully conscious while allowing your mind and body to escape into deep relaxation. Enter a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. This class starts with a body scan followed by a guided visualization for healing of the heart, head and body. A personal affirmation or intention is used to reinforce the healing.
