Vinyasa yoga (moving postures linked together with breath) is designed to keep things fresh for continuing students while supporting students that are new to yoga but prefer a bit of a challenge.
Focus is on body alignment as you learn how to regulate optimal breath to sustain postures and flow with them. Each class contains variations as we explore, focus, and highlight specific areas of the body and energetic centers.
The pace of this class can be invigorating and postures are accessible to most participants and can always be modified to honor your own body. The nature of this yoga style is to connect with and establish a balance of mind, body, and spirit. The practice closes with relaxation postures in which to reflect and reconnect with yourself. You will finish this practice feeling present, energized, and calm!
This class is at the yoga studio. Please wear a face mask at all times while in the studio. Hand sanitizer is placed at the front door when you enter and please follow the traffic pattern arrows on the floor.
No yoga blocks, blankets, straps, yoga mats, etc. will be provided by the studio, please bring your own items for yoga practice and sanitize them between uses.
The floor is marked where your yoga mat can be set up so that 6 feet of space is maintained. Please fill in from front to back of the room.
If you are not feeling well, have a persistent cough, fever, other signs of illness or have been exposed to anyone with Covid please choose an online option rather than an in-person class.
