Pole conditioning helps to build strength in the body by targeting key muscles needed to advance in pole practice. Emphasis on proper alignment is placed on grips for spins, floor work, transitions, basic climbs, and holds. Conditioning helps strengthen the body and make it more flexible through a series of repetitive, dynamic movements. Conditioning exercises for dancers are meant to lightly but consistently push your limits, raising the threshold for your strength and flexibility alike.
