Gentle Core Yoga is a functional Yoga class currently held in-person only. This class is recommended for any student looking to learn about their own movement patterns, deepen their relationship with their body, safely strengthen and mobilize their core, and bring more stability and vital energy into their lives.
Classes generally flow from seated work, to standing, back to seated, and end with a short guided meditation while lying down. Most of this class can be done from a chair as well - almost all Yoga poses can be modified to suit each student's personal capabilities.
About Jenn:
Jennifer's teaching is patient, subtle, and grounded in functional movement. She applies her understanding of human anatomy, breathwork, neuroscience, mindfulness, somatics, and Yogic philosophy to create practices of nuanced self-discovery. Jennifer is a certified 500 hour yoga teacher and trauma-informed instructor and uses these trainings and experience-based knowledge to create healing and empowering spaces for all in her classroom.
