This Breathwork class is different than a typical pranayama
class. While both breathwork practices are powerful and effective
in their own way, we want to highlight a few things that are
different about this Wednesday night class at our Tulsa
Studio.
• This type of breathwork could be compared to Holotropic,
Transformational, or Rebirthing breathwork practices
• We breathe in and out full, free flowing breaths through the
mouth
• This practice is done for 45 minutes. A 15-20 minute explanation
of the breath and what to expect is given at the beginning of class
so you are totally prepared for what to expect. 10-15 minutes is
held at the end for time to integrate and share experiences.
• We practice this breath for many reasons including: emotional
release, healing, spiritual connection, stress & anxiety
relief, conquering fears, self love, feeling more energetic,
processing emotions, feeling inspiration and clarity and so much
more.
• Two to Three facilitators are always holding the space to ensure
you feel safe and supported enough to dive deep into the
practice.
• Community- we hang out and eat snacks that are provided and dance
around afterward until we feel like going home
Overall, this class is whatever you need it to be and whatever that
is, we’re sure you’ll find it through your breath. Your breath is a
powerful medicine and you will get to experience what that truly
means in this practice.
