Breathwork is a powerful tool used to oxygenate the body and brain, boost the immune system, enrich creativity, process emotions, and so much more. This class is open to anyone from an experienced breather to someone who is curious and just getting started tapping into the power of your breath.
The first 10-20 minutes, we will discuss the breathwork practice, what effects you might experience during the practice, and break down how the session will go. We will then move into the breathwork portion of class. Breathwork will last for 45 minutes. We will be doing a type of breath inspired by Transformational Breathwork or Holotropic Breathing. The last 15 minutes of class will be spent in meditation and reflection. Hailey will hold space for you to share and begin to proccess your experience afterward. It is nice to bring a journal to write about your experience. This class will be offered in-person only and space is limited. Please sign up ahead of time!
We recommend that you eat light and clean throughout the day before breathwork and try not to eat at least 1 hour before the practice. Drink lots of water!
***This practice is not recommended for those with high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, glaucoma, retina detachment, seizures, severe mental illness or psychiatric symptons, osteoperosis, history of aneurysms, women who are pregnant, and those who are on strong anti-depressant or anti-anxiety medicine.***
