What is it?
This therapeutic yoga class series is based on the Phoenix Rising
Yoga Therapy
method, to support your own potential transformation through the
yoga experience. We
will be engaging in each class with:
Breath and Movement
Present Moment Experience through Postures
Guided Breath Meditation
Insight and Reflection
Opportunity for Brief Journaling (please bring a journal and pen
with you)
How?
Participants will have the opportunity to experience a deeper way
of being present with
themselves and what shows up in practice, moment to moment. During
the class, there
is an exploration and a deepening of awareness and acceptance
within a safe
environment. Within this exploration, there will be many
opportunities to feel and
access what is happening within our bodies, as we move with breath
in a way that may
not always be available in daily life.
Why?
Our bodies hold individualized wisdom and truth within. We can
access this insight at
any time when we learn how to connect, be present with our
experiences without
judgement, and deeply listen. This is not always a comfortable
process, but ultimately
what leads us to the change, transformation, or new ways of being
in life.
