Basic Foundations of Mindfulness Part 1 by Frank Jude

This offering is for yoga teachers and students interested in
learning more about mindfulness. Over the course of these two experiential
lectures, Frank Jude will detail the four foundations or domains within which we can practice mindfulness. The
emphasis will be on applying the mindfulness instructions taught by
the Buddha to asana teaching and practice.
Body and Feelings
10/24, 10a-12p (Part 1)
Beginning with the breath, the
first two foundations provide the opportunity to develop deep
embodied wisdom and intimacy with the true nature of the body. By
doing so, we can gain great clarity into conditioned patterns of
behavior so that we can bring more awareness and choice to how we
navigate through life. $20/$25 Day of

Part Two: Mind and
Dharma 11/7, 10a-12p (Part 1, register for part 2
separately)
In the second two foundations,
we begin to see the mutual conditioned relationship between body
and mind and by bringing greater awareness to mental formations, we
cultivate greater freedom and ease in both body and mind. $20/$25
