Join Mikayla Morley (C-IAYT, RYT500) for a workshop designed to give you the knowledge and tools to address pelvic floor dysfunction. More than half of the women in this country develop some kind of pelvic floor dysfunction during their life, may it be related to urination, digestion, reproduction, neuromuscular issues or prolapse. While this may be “normal” in our culture, it is not necessary. By gaining physical awareness of these muscles and integrating them into daily movements, you can improve function, and gain more overall strength with greater ease.
This workshop includes a discussion about pelvic floor anatomy and function, why Kegels may not be the one-size-fits all answer to pelvic floor dysfunction, and an experiential portion working with posture and breath as a way to access the crucial role the pelvic floor plays in support and stability. Improved pelvic floor health can help you feel more grounded, in control of your health and energized to do the things you love.
