This class works on Pilates Mat exercises in the traditional order taught in Classical Pilates.
It is helpful if you have had some Pilates Mat experience. We will work at an Advanced Beginner to an Intermediate level of difficulty.
You’ll need:
- A comfortable mat
- 6 ft. Theraband
- 9” inflatable ball
- You can use a pillow and a belt or yoga strap if you do not have these props available.
It is helpful if the instructor can see your whole body on the mat. Please leave your camera on to ensure your safety and precision in working through the exercises.
We will concentrate on using the “powerhouse,” or core abdominal muscles, for each exercise.
Roberta will give you modifications for exercises as needed and is always available to answer questions and give you modifications after class.
