This class is designed for the over-fifty student in search of a mindful and gentle yoga practice. Several options for each pose will offer mature students an opportunity to practice at a level appropriate for their own body on that particular day. Standing, strengthening, and balance poses with support options as well as relaxation and body and breath awareness are included in each class. Some floor poses are included at the beginning and end of each class; students are encouraged to use support for getting up from and down to the floor as needed.
Suggested props: 2 or more blankets, a block, a yoga belt, and a chair.
The virtual session will be available 15 minutes before the class begins. To join the class, log in to your account. Once you are logged un, click My Schedule in the bar at the top of the window, then Join Session for this class.
