We learn yoga on the mat, but ultimately our work is to take
yoga off the mat and into our life. As we have experienced
firsthand these last few months, this work of living your yoga is
not for the faint of heart, it takes determination to return to the
path again and again. This asana-based, online series with Kara
Aubin utilizes the 8 limbs of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras as a
framework to explore how we can embody our yoga.
In December we will look at the practices of asana and pranayama and how they ultimately culminate in meditation. Here the practices begin to yield to subtle and powerful change on many levels of our experience. Asana, pranayama and meditation will be our tools to experience the teachings of the Yoga Sutras, a text that has guided the practice of yogis for thousands of years. This is an opportunity for both newer and experienced yogis to deepen their practice and explore the ancient wisdom of the Yoga Sutras in a practical, hands-on manner.
$48 includes 3 week session livestreamed Wednesdays from
7-8:30pm. Everyone registered for the monthly session will also
receive access to a recorded copy of class each week in case you
couldn’t attend or want to practice again throughout the month.
Access to the recordings expire one week after the current session
ends.
