There are two primary archetypes for asana practice. Tadasana is the archetype for the organization of the muscles, bones, organs and breath while standing and Savasana is the archetype when at rest. This workshop will focus on Savasana. Savasana means corpse pose. Savasana should be able to invite the opportunity to experience a deep enough relaxation that one can rest between this life and the next. This workshop will offer several variations on the theme of Savasana each with a different predisposition. As we each have our individual acquired and constitutional predispositions, different versions of Savasana may be helpful to maximize the experience.
