Aerial Yoga Beginner, Aerial Yoga All-levels, Aerial Yoga Intermediate, Aerial Yoga Flips & Tricks
To advance to one of our Circus classes, a minimum of 1 aerial yoga class is required, 2-3 are recommended.
Step 2: Silk Hammock – Intro
In this class, you'll be introduced to circus-style hammocks—longer, stretchier silks rigged from a single point. You'll explore foundational movements, aerial terminology, dynamic poses, and transitions, all while improving strength and flexibility in a fun, supportive environment.
Recommended Minimum
Attendance:
Take this class, and/or Silk Hammock Intro /L1, at
least 5 times before progressing, or
receive instructor approval to advance.
Prerequisites:
At least 1 Aerial Yoga class is
required; 2–3 classes are strongly
recommended to build comfort and body awareness in the
air.
This mixed-level class offers more scheduling flexibility for both Intro students and those almost ready for Level 1. It bridges beginner concepts with foundational technique, helping you build the skills and confidence needed to progress.
You'll continue developing aerial strength and control through drills, smoother transitions, and short sequences. More challenging variations will be offered individually as you're ready, allowing for a personalized and supportive progression.

Completion of Aerial Yoga, and recommended a Silk
Hammock – Intro class. Or instructor
approval.
In this class, you'll begin linking skills into fluid sequences and exploring beginner-level choreography. Focus is placed on building stamina, strength, stability, and control as you refine transitions and poses in the air.
You'll also begin to develop your own aerial style through creative movement and expressive exploration, laying the groundwork for more advanced training.
Prerequisites:
Completion of five Silk Hammock – Intro /
L1 (Mixed Level) with instructor approval, or
demonstrated proficiency in foundational skills…
Prerequisite Movements: Safely invert with hammock at the sacrum without instruction, confidently perform 3 assisted pullups, stand in the hammock and perform Box-Stand.
